Propex Public Listing Service vs. For Sale By Owner Services
-
Why list your
property on other web sites that charge $200
and more when buyers can't even find your
listing? Most For Sale By Owner
websites offer limited
search functionality requiring buyers
and tenants instead to view pages and pages of
ad copy. They also tend to oversimplify the
complexities of marketing real estate and
provide no tools to assist you in the
closing transaction.
-
Most For Sale By Owner
websites do not post rentals nor can they
accommodate complex commercial
listings.
-
So you buy ad space
in a FSBO magazine...do you know how
many copies are distributed or where
they distribute those copies? Many so
called "magazine services" offer limited
coverage area and are more interested in renewing your
expensive magazine advertisement for another
month than selling your real estate.
-
Don't be fooled by
FSBO claims that you will save "all the
commission". Buyer agents
represent the largest segment of
qualified buyers and many of them ignore FSBO sites.
Further, many FSBO sellers have no trouble
pricing their real estate but become lost
when a prospect comes along and wants to
negotiate. Propex puts you in
touch with buyers, tenants, and buyer agents. Although payment of a
commission to a buyer agent is optional sure, you'll
pay if the agent brings you the "right" price!
And remember, in some cases the buyer agent
may negotiate their fee directly with the
buyer.
-
Even if your home,
business, or rental is already listed in a
local multiple listing service, ask your
agent about listing in the Propex Public
Listing Service™.
If you are listing a
property for the first time, you will need to
set
up an account. Once
activated, you may enter your listing. The
submission of information to the PropEx PLS is subject
to your acceptance of our
terms
and conditions. By
submitting information to, or accessing information
from, the Service, YOU, the end user customer
("Customer") agree to these
terms
and conditions.
